Featherlite®
Ultra-light weight filler
The Featherlite Series is designed to enhance the production process and improve end-product performance of parts made with the product. Just as the name suggests, Featherlite is an ultra-light filler formulated for cast polymer applications as a means to reduce product weight and save manufacturing costs. Currently, Featherlite is available in six versions. Click on a header below for more information.
Featherlite Series

Applications include:

  • Polyester resin casting applications
  • Direct replacement for cultured marble
  • Ideal for backfilling large tubs and shower pans
  • Works well with continuous casting equipment

FL-20, offers a 20% weight reduction with a resin demand of 27%.
FL-30, offers a 30% weight reduction with a resin demand of 37%.
FL-50, offers a 50% weight reduction with a resin demand of 47%.
FL-1000, offers a 50% weight reduction with a resin demand of 50%.
FL-1700 is a concentrate, offering a variable 5 to 50% weight reduction depending on the percentage added to the formula.
FL-1500 is similar to the FL-1700 product line, but with a lower true density and offers better cost savings.
